About me

I came to design through teaching.

I started in a Teach For India classroom with sixty-six third graders. That year taught me the thing I keep building on: people grow when they feel seen, and learning sticks when it connects to something they already care about.

Everything since has been a variation on that idea. A Harvard Ed.M, accessible K-5 literacy at McGraw Hill, teacher courses reaching tens of thousands across India, and now sales-readiness training at Boston Scientific.

People grow when they feel seen. Good design just makes more room for that.

What I believe

Good learning gets out of the way.

When design is working, people don't notice the scaffolding. They just feel capable. That feeling is the whole point, and it's what these four ideas protect.

  • 01

I start with the human, not the content.

Design begins with the learner's context, motivation, and reality. Never with a content dump.

  • 02

Clarity is a kind of respect.

Turning something dense or abstract into something clear is the most caring work I do.

  • 03

Every choice has to earn its keep.

If an interaction or assessment doesn't help a person learn, it doesn't make the cut.

  • 04

    Access is the baseline.

Every learner, every device, every ability. I build it in from the first draft.

How I work

My process bends to the problem.

Some projects need the full rigor of ADDIE. Others move faster with SAM. Either way I follow the same instinct: understand the people first, make something rough early, and keep what the evidence says is working.

  1. 01

    Understand

I sit with stakeholders and subject-matter experts to find the real need behind the request, and get clear on the change we're actually after.

  2. 02

    Shape

I map backward from the outcome, sketch the experience, and decide where practice and feedback belong.

  3. 03

    Build

I develop in Storyline, Rise, H5P, or Vyond. Accessible, on brand, and ready for the LMS.

  4. 04

    Learn

I look at what happened against Kirkpatrick's levels, listen to learners, and revise. Nothing is ever really finished.

A few things about me

  • Right now

Designing sales-readiness training for Endoscopy reps at Boston Scientific.

  • Thinking about

How AI can support learning without replacing the human relationship at its center.

  • Off the clock

Add something personal here so people meet the human, not just the résumé.

Let's make something people love to learn from.

I'm always up for a conversation about learning, design, or a problem you're trying to solve.
